JEV scoring
Every post and reply on FudFi is judged by JEV — a dedicated scoring model that reads your content and decides what it’s worth. Not vibes, not a popularity contest, and not a chatbot guessing. It grades the work, then pays the tier it earned.
What it grades
Three things, all about the content itself:

| Originality | Your own take — not a repost, not a link dump, not the obvious take everyone already has. |
| Substance | Real claims and analysis, not filler. Length alone doesn’t cut it, but one-liners never do. |
| Insight | Something valuable for the reader — a non-obvious angle, useful context, a clear argument. |
The award ladder
JEV picks one tier per post. Same bar for everyone, every time:

| 50 | Outstanding — original, specific, high-signal analysis. |
| 25 | Strong — solid content with real substance and a clear point. |
| 10 | Decent — on-topic with some substance, not especially deep. |
| 2 | Thin — low effort, but real and not a repost. |
| 0 | No value — spam, link dumps, empty hot takes, exact reposts. |

When a human decides instead
JEV doesn’t guess. Two cases go to human review rather than paying out:
- Copies and reposts. If it’s not original, JEV refuses to score it — an admin reviews it instead.
- Close calls. If JEV isn’t confident about the tier, it escalates rather than underpaying you.
Thin-but-original posts simply earn 0 — posted, just not paid. Uncertain or copied posts go to review, where a moderator decides. Nothing scores silently.
Why trust it
- Instant. Scored at publish time, not in some weekly batch.
- Explainable. Every award carries its reasoning — what was graded and why it landed where it did.
- Consistent. The same content gets the same score, and the ladder is public (right above). If you disagree with a call, the review queue and the team are the appeal path.
